About The Position

National Account Customer Service Representative, $23.00 hr. Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm. Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts. R+L Carriers has immediate openings for a National Account Customer Service Representative at our Wilmington, OH Service Center. The National Account Customer Service team works with some of our highest volume shippers in the company’s transportation network. A department representative must understand the complexities of how freight moves within our supply chain, as well as the R+L service portfolio that facilitates these shipments. To succeed in this position, a representative must work cohesively with our National Account Sales Directors and Operations team to support the shipping demands of a varied customer base.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support heavy volumes with phone and email communications
• Ability to deal with potentially adverse situations, such as the movement of freight and problem resolution
• Proficient with Microsoft products, i.e., Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service to our internal and external customers with timely problem resolution
• Manage reports for service and exceptions with respect to our national account customer base
• Communicate in an effective and efficient manner with service centers to ensure on-time deliveries
• Assist with MyRLC login requests and management for customer access to our website
• Provide on-demand support for National Account Sales Directors regarding customer requests
• Process reports/compile data to support overall shipping activities on a case-by-case need
• Support the general customer care call queue, when required
• Build healthy working relationships with customers to deliver positive customer experiences
• Possess a positive attitude when dealing with internal and external customers
