Part Time Nanny – Austin, TX
About The Position
A welcoming family in Austin, Texas, is seeking a dependable part-time nanny to care for their 2-year-old boy and 3-month-old girl. The nanny will maintain the children's daily routines and provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. The household has a small dog that requires minimal interaction or assistance. The family values consistency with daily nap, feeding, and play schedules. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, with Tuesday through Friday also possible depending on the nanny's availability, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 24 hours per week. The start date is December 22, 2026, with flexibility to start before or after that date. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. This is a private, family-hired position; caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy.
Requirements
- Proven experience caring for both infants and toddlers.
- Prior nannying experience.
- Comfortable being outdoors for extended periods, including at parks and during outdoor activities.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for both children while following their established routines, including bottle feedings, mealtimes, naps, and play.
- Take the children on outdoor walks and trips to the neighborhood park.
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children.
- Handle mealtime setup and cleanup, including washing dishes and baby bottles.
- Perform light laundry related to the children.
- Keep play and living areas tidy throughout the day and at the end of the day.
- Occasionally provide minimal care for the family's small dog.
