About The Position
Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist in Austin, Texas. The role involves collecting blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients to help identify underlying conditions and support their health. The position offers $30–$40 per draw and flexible scheduling. Asset Risk Inc. provides occupational health and hazard management services, including Non-DOT and DOT testing, mobile on-site services, and in-clinic clinical blood draws across several states.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
- Familiarity with legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize sample collection requests according to urgency.
- Collect patients’ personal information.
- Determine the appropriate venipuncture method for each patient.
- Reassure patients during the collection process.
- Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
- Label samples correctly and send them for testing.
