About The Position

Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a mobile Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients. Patients already have their kits, and the role does not require centrifuging samples; the phlebotomist collects and sends them. Reliable transportation is required. Compensation is $30–$40 per successful blood draw, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize sample collection requests based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the appropriate venipuncture method for each patient.
• Reassure patients during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Label samples correctly and send them for testing.
• Never send needles back with a blood draw.
