About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with store teams. You are the face of Hallmark in stores and may occasionally work with products from other companies. The role combines regular department service, additional seasonal support around holidays, and occasional department resets and installations. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, with a variable schedule during the work week averaging 11–13 hours per week. The role pays $13.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience, and includes paid hands-on and virtual training. Hallmark says eligible employees receive annual pay increases and part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours can access voluntary benefits.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures throughout the workday.
• Able to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday; may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and help optimize product placement.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional service days and extended hours around seasonal holidays, and work on certain holidays when required.
• Support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
• Help build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories when needed.
