About The Position

As a Merchandiser, you will work independently in retail stores to showcase your organization and time-management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. The role may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in the stores you service. You will service Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. The work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark inventory and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication. You will interact professionally with store employees, managers, and customers and are responsible for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores. The position also includes seasonal holiday support and, at times, department resets and installations. Work may increase around holidays, include extended hours, and occasionally require work on the holiday itself. Reset and remodel assignments may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments or products, and resetting card sections; these assignments may include evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may also assist colleagues in other territories as needed. This is a part-time role with a variable work-week schedule and an average of 10–12 hours per week. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours per week have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
