About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory and product displays, and build relationships with store teams. You may also collaborate with other merchandisers on seasonal resets and installations and, on occasion, work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Daily work involves restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communications, and interacting professionally with store employees, managers, and customers. You are responsible for the complete Hallmark display at your assigned stores. Work is scheduled variably during the work week and averages 5–10 hours per week. Holiday periods may require additional days and extended hours, with occasional work on the holiday itself, including weekends. Resets and remodel assignments may involve evenings or weekends; notice is typically provided two weeks in advance. The position pays $13.00–$15.00 per hour depending on skills and experience and includes paid training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Hallmark offers part-time employees voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, and other coverage options. This is physically demanding work in retail selling floors and back stockrooms. The position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of products and fixtures, along with standing, walking, kneeling, and squatting throughout the workday. Climbing stairs or step ladders may also be required.
