As a part-time Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organizational and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and inventory, and support other merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations as needed. You may occasionally work with products from other companies in stores you service. You perform service work in Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. The role includes daily restocking, organizing, and inventory monitoring; seasonal holiday support; department resets and installations; and assisting fellow team members in their territories. A Hallmark-provided mobile device is used for work tasks and communication, including reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys. Professional interactions with store staff, management, and customers are important. This position has a variable weekday schedule averaging 8–18 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, installations, and inventory support. The role involves working on sales floors and in stockrooms and has substantial physical demands. Starting pay is $13.00–$14.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees with schedules under 30 hours can access voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
