About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, and maintain inventory. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and participation in department resets and installations. Merchandisers may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service and may support other team members in their territories. The position is part-time, averages 10–12 hours per week, and has a variable workweek schedule. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. Seasonal demand may bring additional workdays and extended hours; availability around major holidays and for season changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory support is required. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
