About The Position

East Wind Nannies is recruiting a nanny for a professional family in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. The family has a 3-year-old, a 14-month-old, and a baby due in November, and hopes to grow their family in the future. This is a long-term role for someone who wants to build lasting relationships and grow alongside the family. The nanny will provide engaged, developmentally thoughtful childcare, matching the toddler’s energy and supporting the baby’s learning and exploration. Days should include outdoor play, simple outings such as parks and library visits, reading, and age-appropriate activities. The family’s car is provided for outings. The nanny will also offer household support and take initiative as time allows. The home is on a farm, where an occasional simple activity such as collecting eggs with the children may be part of the day; this is optional. Both parents work from home and are described as supportive and respectful of the nanny’s role. The family has established routines and values consistency, proactive communication, and collaboration. The schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Tuesdays off, for 36 guaranteed hours per week. The position is listed as full-time, with a start date of ASAP and an hourly rate of $28–$32.
