About The Position

East Wind Nannies is recruiting a nanny for a professional family in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. The nanny will care for a 3-year-old and a 14-month-old, with a baby expected in November. The family anticipates having more children in the future and is seeking a long-term nanny who is interested in growing with the family. The role centers on attentive, hands-on childcare: keeping the children engaged, supporting their development through everyday play, and maintaining a steady routine. Activities may include spending time outdoors, visiting local parks and the library, and taking occasional trips to museums or the zoo. A family car is provided for outings. The nanny may also provide household support as time allows and take initiative to help the household run smoothly. Occasional, simple farm activities such as collecting eggs with the children may be part of the day and are optional. Both parents work from home and are described as supportive while respecting the nanny’s role and autonomy. The family has established systems and routines and values a collaborative relationship, open communication, and consistency. The position is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Tuesdays off, for 36 guaranteed hours per week. The start date is ASAP, and the hourly rate is $27–$30.
