Full Time / Part Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is seeking engaging, creative, fun, and flexible nannies to join their on-call team in Minneapolis, MN. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in childcare, such as babysitting, daycare work, nannying, or church nursery volunteering. It's also a great fit for retired teachers or teaching professionals looking for a smaller environment than a classroom. The position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance work with school, family, or other part-time commitments. As a back-up nanny, you will provide in-home care for children ranging from infants to toddlers, with the highest demand for care for children under the age of two. Your responsibilities will include ensuring child safety, leading hands-on activities based on observed age-appropriate development, and performing common-sense clean-up related to your activities with the child. You will not be required to transport children or perform household duties beyond this.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid
- Infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
- Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor
