About The Position

This position is for a part-time Nail Technician at Planet Hollywood LV. The role focuses on providing outstanding and personalized customer service while accurately performing high-end nail services. The technician will engage with guests, offer tailored services, and upsell where appropriate, all while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.

Requirements

Nevada Nail Technician license.
Two years of work experience at a high-end or resort-style salon or spa.
Excellent and proficient in manicure, pedicure, acrylic/gel nail application, gel polish application, express services, and nail repairs/fills.
Ability to lift 25lbs.
Ability to stand up to 9 hours per day.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing ability, and visual acuity.

Responsibilities

Provide the highest level of personalized service with a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude.
Perform high-end nail services including manicures, pedicures, express services, French tips, gel polish, and acrylic/gel nail application.
Initiate and engage in professional and friendly conversations with guests and team members.
Participate in a learning environment to maximize productivity, skill development, and associate retention through ongoing educational workshops.
Understand and clearly explain all Salon & Spa services, treatments, and pricing.
Suggest tailored/customizable nail services to each client and upsell services.
Demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' and associates’ needs.
Perform express services (manicure and pedicures in 30 minutes).
Provide information about the Salon & Spa, its services, treatments, concepts, and pricing.
Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately.
Understand the importance of and be committed to continuing education.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
