About The Position

The Nail Technician provides nail care services for hands and feet and maintains a complete understanding of the spa’s current offerings. The role delivers the “Choctaw Experience” by meeting Choctaw Expectations and Brand Standards. The technician performs services according to current certifications, evaluates guest contraindications, recommends other spa treatments, maintains clean and prepared work areas, records treatment notes on client cards, and cleans and disinfects equipment daily. The technician also helps maintain the facility and prepare for special events by assisting with equipment, furniture, and product storage. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule. Average rate is $40.00 per hour, including tax, commission, and tips; this average rate is not guaranteed. The position reports to the Spa Director.

Requirements

Maintain all current licenses and certifications required at the state and local levels.
Be efficient and able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Have excellent verbal and written skills.
Have one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Perform standard nail services, including nail grooming, polish application, massage, and exfoliation, and begin and end all treatments.
Perform services on the spa menu based on current certifications.
Assess guest contraindications that may prevent a service from taking place.
Suggest other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
Keep work areas clean and set up according to procedures, and complete assigned side work.
Inform the Spa Director of product needs.
Create client cards with treatment notes.
Clean and disinfect all equipment daily.
Assist staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to maintain the facility and prepare for special events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
