Nail Technician - Part Time (Planet Hollywood LV)
About The Position
The Nail Technician will provide each guest with outstanding and personalized customer service, while accurately performing all high-end Nail Services. This role requires a licensed Nail Technician with a depth of education and service experience, capable of performing various nail services including manicures, pedicures, express services, French tips, gel polish, and acrylic/gel nail application. The position involves initiating conversations professionally and friendly, participating in a learning environment to maximize productivity and skill development, and understanding all Salon & Spa services, treatments, and pricing to explain them clearly. The technician will suggest tailored nail services, upsell services, and demonstrate respect and concern for guests' and associates' needs. The ability to perform express services (manicure and pedicures in 30 minutes) is essential. The role also includes handling guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy, responding to requests immediately, and committing to continuing education. Other tasks may be assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
Requirements
- Nevada Nail Technician license.
- Two years of work experience at a high end or resort style salon or spa.
- Excellent and proficient in manicure, pedicure, acrylic/gel nail application, gel polish application, express services and nail repairs/fills.
- Ability to lift 25lbs.
- Ability to stand up to 9 hours per day.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity.

- Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately.
- Commit to continuing education.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
