About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Multimodality Tech performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities as requested by a licensed physician. The role produces high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care and completes established position competencies within the designated introductory period. Other related duties may be assigned.

The technician produces images safely and efficiently, completes required examinations, sends studies to the reading station for radiologist review, and completes all associated documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
• Two years of clinical experience in more than one modality.
• ARRT (R) certification and documentation of CT or MRI experience.
• Must obtain an advanced credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire.
• AHA BLS certification.
• State license if required.
