About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Imaging Supervisor, the Imaging Technologist III provides radiological services to patients according to physicians' orders. The technologist must be registered in at least one additional modality besides Radiology and is responsible for patient safety and high-quality testing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or registration eligibility.
- Certification by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
- Registration in at least one additional modality besides Radiology.
- Certification according to unit-specific competency requirements, such as BLS or CPI.
- Specific training in the other specialty area as required by that area.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
