Multi-Site Security Officer
About The Position
The Multi-Site Security Officer monitors and patrols multiple client sites in Baltimore, Columbia, Glen Burnie, and Laurel, Maryland, on schedules that vary according to operational needs. This is an on-call position with no set schedule and work hours varying from 8 to 40 hours per week. The officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring and patrolling premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role also provides customer service and information to client employees and customers. Duties include monitoring CCTV, communicating with a handheld radio, conducting foot patrols, and staffing a front desk to verify visitors, customers, and employees. The position requires availability and willingness to work weekends and the ability to walk up and down stairs in multi-level buildings.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of security experience.
- A full and valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be available and willing to work weekends.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs in multi-level buildings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol premises at multiple client sites.
