About The Position
The Mountain Safety Attendant represents safety and guest service on the mountain. The role promotes safety in skiing and snowboarding by providing guests with quality feedback and communication, and serves as a friendly resort presence in an outdoor alpine environment. This is a winter-seasonal role for 2026/2027, with full-time and part-time hours available. Starting pay is $20.00–$23.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must communicate fluently in English.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.
- Intermediate or higher skiing or riding ability, at a minimum of Level 7.
Responsibilities
- Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and resort policies with guests and employees.
- Provide strong guest service to internal and external guests.
- Maintain mountain safety materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
