About The Position

The Fun Mountain Attendant assists with all aspects of the Big Cedar Lodge Fun Center, including laser tag, bowling, the ropes course, the go-cart track, and other activities. The primary responsibility is to ensure that assigned areas provide guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. The role operates indoor attractions year-round and outdoor attractions during peak seasons, provides front desk support, maintains clean facilities, and delivers excellent customer service. The position works under direct supervision, follows well-defined policies and procedures, and has limited opportunity for independent judgment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing personality and willingness to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups, guests, and associates.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and prioritize urgency and guest satisfaction.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, including during blackout periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate indoor attractions year-round and outdoor attractions during peak seasons to provide a consistent, positive guest experience.
• Participate in attraction operations, including work in elevated and confined spaces.
• Perform front desk duties, including processing credit card transactions, managing a waitlist, and completing closing paperwork.
• Wipe down, sweep, and mop bowling lanes.
• Maintain a clean environment for guests and associates.
• Walk regularly to ensure areas are being used properly and remain in good condition.
• Enhance the guest experience through excellent customer service.
• Assist with implementing guest activities during major holidays.
• Participate regularly in team-building events and activities.
• Work scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and blackout periods.
