About The Position
Responsible for cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition. Observes rhythms at the central station for all areas of the acute hospital. Maintains alarms and troubleshoots technical functions of cardiac monitors. In collaboration with the nurse, supports interpretation and transmission, including appropriate lead placement. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic arrhythmia certificate upon hire.
- BLS upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medications.
- A minimum of one year of critical care experience preferred.
