About The Position

The Model Cocktail Server provides table service in a nightclub, delivering drinks and creating a vibrant, energetic atmosphere. The role includes engaging with guests, recommending beverages, processing payments, coordinating with the bar and service teams, and supporting special events and promotions. The server also creates and shares social media content, interacts with followers, and helps build the nightclub’s online presence. The position requires compliance with responsible alcohol service regulations, health codes, safety standards, uniform requirements, and applicable licensing rules. The role is based in a fast-paced, busy, somewhat stressful nightclub environment; the noise level is usually moderate, and the Member could be exposed to unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke. The position requires a flexible schedule that includes nights, holidays, and weekends. Compensation is $12.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience as a cocktail server or in a similar role.
• Confidence and a captivating presence, with a polished, stylish appearance aligned with the nightclub’s image.
• Ability to recommend and upsell premium beverages and offerings.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for outstanding service to VIP guests.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage and entertain guests.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and service staff.
• Proficiency in processing payments and managing transactions.
• Familiarity with responsible alcohol service regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a dynamic nightclub environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Compliance with legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages in the applicable location.
• Ability to maintain an engaging online persona consistent with the nightclub’s brand.
• Willingness to participate in social media efforts and engage with guests online.
• Must fit the nightclub’s uniform and refrain from altering it without permission.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Physical ability to stand, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, hear, and perform duties involving pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, and balancing in varying work areas, including confined spaces.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close and peripheral vision.

Responsibilities

• Provide table service by taking orders, delivering drinks, and ensuring a memorable guest experience.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, charismatic, and attentive manner.
• Present drinks in a visually appealing way.
• Learn the drink menu, make recommendations, answer questions, and suggest specialty cocktails, promotions, and upgrades.
• Participate in special events, theme nights, and promotions.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and electronic transactions professionally.
• Build relationships with regular guests and personalize service based on their preferences.
• Coordinate with bartenders, servers, and bar staff to support smooth service.
• Maintain a polished appearance and follow the nightclub’s dress code and grooming standards.
• Create social media content, including photos, videos, and stories featuring drinks and nightclub entertainment.
• Participate in live streams showcasing cocktail preparation, mixology tips, and behind-the-scenes nightclub activity.
• Share stories about the nightclub, its history, signature drinks, and memorable moments.
• Write captions consistent with the nightclub’s brand and encourage audience engagement.
• Respond to social media comments, direct messages, and mentions.
• Use relevant hashtags and geotags to increase post visibility.
• Encourage patrons to share their experiences using a designated hashtag and curate and repost selected user-generated content.
• Assist fellow servers and staff as needed.
• Follow responsible alcohol service regulations, health codes, and safety standards.
• Qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
