About The Position

The LIV Bartender combines bartending expertise with a captivating, glamorous presence to enhance the nightclub guest experience. The role includes preparing and presenting drinks, engaging with guests, welcoming VIPs, and contributing to the nightclub’s lively atmosphere. Bartenders also support events and promotions, maintain a clean and stocked bar, process payments, follow alcohol-service and safety requirements, and create and manage social media content that reflects the nightclub’s brand. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Temporary or permanent duties may be added or modified as necessary.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years of bartending experience, with deep knowledge of mixology.
Proficiency in cocktail crafting, mixology techniques, and drink presentation.
Confidence and a captivating presence, with a polished, stylish appearance aligned with the nightclub’s image.
Ability to recommend and upsell premium beverages and offerings.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service for VIP guests.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage and entertain guests.
Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and service staff.
Proficiency in processing payments and managing transactions.
Familiarity with responsible alcohol-service regulations and safety practices.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic nightclub environment and changing demands.
Compliance with legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages in the applicable location.
Ability to maintain an engaging online persona consistent with the nightclub’s brand.
Must fit the nightclub uniform and not alter it without permission.
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
Ability to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
Ability to read and interpret English documents and communicate verbally in English; written English may also be required.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Craft cocktails, mixed drinks, and other beverages consistently and to a high standard.
Learn the drink menu and recommend options to guests.
Engage guests warmly and entertainingly, including greeting VIP guests professionally.
Use showmanship and visual presentation when preparing drinks and customize beverages to guest preferences.
Maintain an organized, stocked bar and ensure essential ingredients and supplies are available.
Process cash and electronic payments accurately and professionally.
Recommend specialty drinks, promotions, and premium offerings.
Participate in special events, themed parties, and promotions.
Answer guest questions and provide information about the nightclub’s offerings.
Follow responsible alcohol-service regulations, health codes, safety standards, and hygiene protocols.
Maintain a polished appearance consistent with the nightclub’s dress code, uniform, and image standards.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and other nightclub staff to provide seamless service.
Keep the bar and workspaces clean and sanitary, and handle equipment, utensils, and ingredients safely.
Create photos, videos, stories, and other engaging social media content featuring drinks and entertainment.
Participate in live streams showcasing cocktail preparation, mixology tips, and behind-the-scenes nightclub activity.
Share stories about the nightclub, its history, signature drinks, and memorable moments.
Write brand-aligned captions and use relevant hashtags and geotags to encourage engagement and increase visibility.
Respond to social media comments, messages, and mentions, and encourage, curate, and repost guest-generated content.
