About The Position

The Bar Apprentice assists bartenders with operational duties and helps ensure guests have a positive experience by keeping bars clean and stocked. The role includes welcoming guests, anticipating and responding to requests, preparing and serving beverages according to recipes, maintaining inventory awareness, and ensuring orders are accurate. The apprentice also participates in weekly mandatory social media posting and marketing campaign photoshoots, maintains extensive knowledge of menu products, and handles other job-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven record of personally providing excellent guest service.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high-stress, high-volume environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Modeling experience.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and holidays.
• Polished appearance.
• Experience and ability to work in a dynamic environment with frequent change.
• Ability to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing; handling objects, tools, or controls; reaching; communicating; and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests professionally.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond to requests politely and promptly.
• Stock and break down the bar area daily.
• Monitor daily inventory levels.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to proper recipes.
• Keep bar equipment and work areas clean.
• Participate in weekly mandatory social media posting.
• Ensure orders are accurate.
• Participate in marketing campaign photoshoots.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of menu products.
• Perform other job-related tasks as necessary and respond with a sense of urgency.
