About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Atlanta, Georgia, including Decatur, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Mableton, South Fulton, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, typically three to four unrushed appointments per day, and support from onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
Travel to appointments in Atlanta and the surrounding service areas.
Work some weekends.
