About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Trenton, Princeton, Hamilton Township, Monroe Township, Manalapan Township, Jackson Township, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians receive comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities for a two-day-per-week schedule offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medicine (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
