Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to serve Trenton, Princeton, Hamilton Township, Monroe Township, Manalapan Township, Jackson Township, NJ, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day, and the opportunity to practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are also mentioned; compensation details for those schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
