About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Cleveland, Parma, Lakewood, Mentor, Chagrin Falls, Westlake, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers a mobile alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day, and support from a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Support includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center.

Available schedules include three-, four-, and five-day opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $85,000, while five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
• Travel to clients in the Cleveland-area service region to provide mobile veterinary care.
