About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Dayton, Ohio, including Xenia, Springfield, Springboro, Miamisburg, Fairborn, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, and support from a community of veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time schedules are available. Four-day positions start at $85,000, and five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available, with prorated compensation based on schedule. Compensation varies according to schedule structure.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in a mobile setting.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
