About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, including Bethlehem, Easton, Nazareth, Macungie, Emmaus, East Stroudsburg, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day and time for unrushed visits. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position is veterinarian-founded and owned and is part of a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Part-time opportunities are available on a two-day-per-week schedule, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates will be subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day, allowing time for unrushed visits.
