About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Reno, Nevada, including Sparks, Sun Valley, Carson City, Fernley, Spanish Springs, and surrounding areas. The role provides compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Part-time opportunities at two days per week offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
Travel to appointments in Reno, Sparks, Sun Valley, Carson City, Fernley, Spanish Springs, and surrounding areas.
Work some weekends.
