About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Morristown, Newton, Hackettstown, Randolph, Rockaway, Wayne, Parsippany, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, supporting them during a meaningful and difficult time. This mobile role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for a two-day-per-week schedule, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.
