Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving South Shore, Massachusetts, including Plymouth, New Bedford, Marshfield, Middleborough, Kingston, Wareham, and surrounding areas. The role provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, support from experienced leaders, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four appointments per day. The two-day-per-week opportunity offers a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Practice independently while working with Lap of Love’s support professionals and leaders.
