About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Ann Arbor, Howell, Ypsilanti, Brighton, Livonia, Canton, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian will practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced-leader support, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are flexible, with opportunities for two to five days per week. The role averages three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.
