About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to serve Charlotte, Waxhaw, Concord, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules, typically two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
• Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Be available to work some weekends.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Complete a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
• Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
