About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Winston-Salem, North Carolina, including Kernersville, High Point, Clemmons, Lexington, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, supporting them during meaningful end-of-life moments. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The posting describes part-time opportunities (two days per week) with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
