Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Beverly, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Gloucester, Danvers, Haverhill, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of 3–4 unhurried appointments per day, and support from a community of veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must undergo a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
