About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Winston-Salem, North Carolina, including Kernersville, High Point, Clemmons, Lexington, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. The position includes onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities
