About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Ann Arbor, Howell, Ypsilanti, Brighton, Livonia, Canton, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Part-time two-day-per-week opportunities have a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules are available upon request. The position includes onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
Travel to appointments in the assigned service area.
