About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Reno, Nevada, including Sparks, Sun Valley, Carson City, Fernley, Spanish Springs, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, with less paperwork than traditional clinic practice. Lap of Love is veterinarian-founded and owned, and offers onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
