Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Salem, Keizer, McMinnville, Dallas, Albany, Corvallis, Monmouth, Oregon, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian works independently in the community while remaining connected to a veterinarian-founded organization of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with training, mentorship, practice-manager support, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are flexible, with opportunities for two to five days per week. The role averages three to four appointments per day, allowing time with families and reducing paperwork. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
