Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Cincinnati, Batavia, Mason, Milford, Fairfield, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in the home, helping families through an important and meaningful moment. The role offers flexible scheduling, averaging 3–4 appointments per day, with time for families and less paperwork than traditional clinic practice. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available on a two-day-per-week schedule in the Cincinnati area, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are also available, with compensation details provided upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Must complete a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
