Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Cleveland, Parma, Lakewood, Mentor, Chagrin Falls, Westlake, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the field while remaining connected to a veterinarian-founded organization of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
