Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Columbus, Westerville, Dublin, Grove City, Hilliard, Powell, Delaware, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian practices independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training, experienced mentors, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and averages three to four appointments per day. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in a mobile setting.
- Work independently while engaging with mentors, practice managers, and the broader Lap of Love support community.
