About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Pittsburgh, Bethel Park, Fox Chapel, Wexford, Bradford Woods, Glenshaw, Irwin, Coraopolis, Washington, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week; compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. The veterinarian works independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from the 24/7/365 Support Center.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes.
Travel to appointments in the listed Pennsylvania service areas.
