About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Cincinnati, Batavia, Mason, Milford, Fairfield, Ohio, and surrounding areas. Lap of Love is veterinarian-founded and owned and offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role focuses on meaningful, unhurried appointments and gives veterinarians the opportunity to practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Schedules are flexible, with opportunities to work two to five days per week. Veterinarians average three to four appointments per day. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities in the Cincinnati area offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Some benefits are available only to full-time team members.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hiring and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
