Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Jersey Shore, New Jersey, including Toms River, Brick Township, Freehold, Manchester Township, Jackson Township, Howell Township, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, support from experienced leaders, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Conduct mobile veterinary appointments in the Jersey Shore service area.
- Work some weekends.
