About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time, in-home mobile veterinarian serving the Central Valley, including Stockton, Lodi, Modesto, Manteca, Valley Springs, Lathrop, Acampo, Oakdale, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position is veterinarian-founded and owned and is part of a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hiring and before their associated start date.
