Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian in Dayton, Ohio, and surrounding areas, including Xenia, Springfield, Springboro, Miamisburg, and Fairborn. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, helping families during a meaningful and difficult time. This veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice. The role includes flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders available for support, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Candidates will be subject to background and motor vehicle record checks after hire and before their start date.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
