Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Nevada, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, and less time spent on paperwork. The role is supported by comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders available for consultation, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules are available upon request. Some benefits listed are available only to full-time team members.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in clients’ homes.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
